FL Studio makes it fairly easy to automate knobs on their native plugins, but when it comes to 3rd party plugins, setting up the automation is a bit different.
1. Go to your plugin & click on the parameter you want to automate (I usually move mine to be sure it's selected).
2. Go to "Tools > Last Tweaked" on the menu bar.
3. Click on "Create automation clip".
Your automation clip will now be in the playlist & you will now be able to control the parameter via automation.
NOTE: Your automation clip will now override any tweaks or changes you make to the parameter that has been automated. Use the automation clip to make any changes.
